This policy explains how AKKOYUNLU TEKSTİL İNŞ. PVC ALÜM. CAM. İTH. İHR. SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ ("Akkoyunlu Tekstil", "we") processes personal data when you use wholesalehometextile.com. Data we process
- Enquiry data — company name, contact name, work email, destination country, optional estimated quantity, your message, and the page or product you were looking at. Submitted through the quote and sample request forms.
- Communication data — if you open a chat through a WhatsApp button, the chat is handled by WhatsApp (Meta); the message we pre-fill contains your language and, on product pages, the product name and SKU.
- Server log data — IP address, date and time, requested URL, HTTP status code and browser/device type, recorded automatically by our hosting and content-delivery provider to keep the site secure and available.
- Browser storage — the currency you select (EUR or USD) is saved in your browser's local storage so the shop shows the same currency when you return.
No advertising cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not load third-party marketing pixels. Only the technical storage described above is used.
Why we process data (legal basis)
- Taking steps before a contract and performing a contract — handling your quote or sample request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Legitimate interest — secure and reliable operation of the website, and defence against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Consent — where you contact us directly, we process your data in order to reply (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
What happens to an enquiry today
Quote and sample requests are checked by our server and given a reference number. They are not currently stored in a database or forwarded automatically — enquiry delivery is still being connected. For a guaranteed response, write to us on WhatsApp at +90 543 970 41 70.
Recipients
Data is processed by our hosting and content-delivery provider and, when you use a chat button, by WhatsApp (Meta). We do not sell personal data. If an email or CRM provider is connected for enquiries, this policy will be updated.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, including the United States and Türkiye. Where this happens, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep data
Because enquiries are not currently stored, nothing is retained beyond server logs and the currency setting in your own browser. Once enquiry delivery is connected, enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to answer the request and document the business relationship; statutory retention periods (ten years for commercial and tax records in Türkiye) apply to order and invoice documents.
Your rights
- Access, rectification and erasure of your data; restriction of processing; data portability.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest, and object to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority — in the EU with your local supervisory authority, in Türkiye with the KVKK Authority.

The website is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to answer you.
Business customers only
This website is aimed at trade buyers. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
